The Tioga County jail program provides care for persons suffering from Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) identified by the correctional facility or by self reports. CASA-Trinity counselors provide orientation to those individuals and complete referrals to outside treatment centers for appropriate level of care.
Counselors educate individuals through treatment and the program provides extended release injectable naltrexone. Participants receive the information prior to release from Tioga County Jail. CASA-Trinity also aids in transportation to appropriate appointments.
